Instructor and Coordinator of Technical Services As an undergraduate Beth Blankenship majored in Philosophy, with minors in Women's Studies and Political Science. Her studies in graduate school emphasized medieval and speculative literature, and she wrote her thesis on Ursula K. LeGuin's Earthsea series. After graduation, she worked as a business and technical writer, and as a part-time instructor at Delgado and Nunez community colleges. She joined the UNO English faculty in 2001. Her teaching interest is focused on computer-assisted learning. In the Fall 2007 semester, Ms. Blankenship is teaching a special topics course on the graphic novel, ENG 2398: Introduction to the Graphic Novel. |
