Scott Farrin earned his B.A. in English Literature from the University of Texas, and his M.F.A. from Texas State University in 1998, and was hired as a full-time instructor at UNO in 1999.  He teaches classes in writing, creative writing, and literature, and has published on all three subjects.  His short fiction has been published in journals such as Puerto del Sol and The South Carolina Review, and he has contributed articles in books on the postmodern short story and the teaching of composition concentrating on style.
