Instructor James Lapeyre received his B.A. in English from Wheaton College, an M.A. in Theological Studies from Duke University, and a Ph.D. in English Literature from Baylor University. He has taught at Nicholls State University and Baylor University. His interests include medieval codicology and paleography;The Towneley Cycle; textual criticism; theological signification; the Metaphysical poets; Hopkins, Dylan Thomas, and Wallace Stevens. His current research investigates the effects of editing practices on poetic values in medieval poetry and drama.
