DR. MICHAEL MOONEY

Professor
Ph.D., University of Southern California

Michael E. Mooney teaches classes in Renaissance literature, especially Shakespeare, and in the Ancient Greeks.  He has been a member of the faculty since 1979, when he came to UNO from Arizona State University, and has also taught at the University of Florida.  He has published two books, Shakespeare's Dramatic Transactions (Duke) and Hamlet: An Annotated Bibliography of Shakespeare Studies (North Carolina) and essays on Renaissance drama and Samuel Beckett's novels in English Literary History, Journal of English and Germanic Philology, English Literary Renaissance, Shakespeare Survey, English Literary Renaissance, Comparative Drama, Semiotica, Journal of Beckett Studies, and Studies in English LiteratureShakespeare's Dramatic Transactions has recently been reprinted on line, and seven of his essays have also been reproduced.
