ONLINE TUTORING

In addition to on-site tutoring, the UNO Writing Center also offers online tutoring. 
In order to receive online tutoring, your request must be sent from a UNO email account!

Here is what you need to do to contact an online tutor:

1. From your UNO email account, send your questions for the online tutor and/or an attached draft of your paper to lrc@uno.edu. If you are sending a paper, send it as an attachment formatted in Microsoft Word only.  Papers copied directly into the email interface will be returned.
2. To make sure your request gets processed before anything else in the mailbox, you must supply a clear subject line, e.g. "Request for Online Tutoring." 
3. The office assistant will forward your request to an available tutor, who will get in touch with you by the next business day (school holidays excepted). 
4. Since online tutoring takes up more time than on-site tutoring, plan accordingly: if your paper is due the next day, we recommend that you come to the Writing Center in person.

We are unable at this time to schedule on-site tutoring sessions via email.  If you want to make an appointment to see a tutor in the Writing Center, call 280-7054 or drop by LA 334.
